Day 01 to 04: Protea Hotel Sea Point.

Depart from Blantyre, Chileka airport for your flight to Cape Town (own arrangement), upon your arrival and after taking position of your hire car (own arrangement) make your way to the Protea Hotel Sea Point, Sea Point. The accommodation at the Protea is on a Bed and Breakfast basis for 3 nights. Whilst in Cape Town you are free to enjoy the city at your own leisure.

This stylish hotel is based in the heart of Sea Point overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, 26km from Cape Town International Airport. Consisting of 124 bedrooms, 6 are ‘Luxury Art’ suites designed and decorated by selected South African artists. All rooms overlook either the ocean or historic Signal Hill and Lions Head. The elegantly appointed rooms are air -conditioned and offer satellite television and tea/coffee making facilities.

Day 05 to 08: Stellenbosch

Today you Check out of the Protea Hotel, Sea Point and make your way to Stellenbosch in your hired vehicle enjoying the many stopovers along the way, the drive is approximately 1hr 30min depending on traffic (±70Kms) Your destination is the Protea Hotel, Stellenbosch on a Bed and Breakfast basis for 4 nights. Whilst in Stellenbosch you are free to explore the many wonders of that region, the wineries being the most popular.

In the heart of the Winelands, in one of the most beautiful and heritage conscious towns, the Protea Hotel Stellenbosch is nestled between 2 international golf courses. ASandy Beach is a quick 10 minute drive where the mountains and ocean finally meet. 35km from Cape Town International Airport.The 179 bedrooms are the most comfortable in the Winelands.

88 well-appointed deluxe rooms offer a small kitchenette facility and separate lounge. All rooms have individual air-conditioning, 18 dedicated satellite television channels, an electronic safe and tea/coffee making facilities.

CAPE TOWN TOUR

Day 01 and 02: Cape Town

Depart from Chileka airport for your flight to Johannesburg and thereafter connect to your flight to Cape Town. Arrive in Cape Town, and be met and welcomed by a representative holding a name board. Your driver will assist you with your luggage and accompany you to your transfer vehicle. From the airport you will be transferred to Bushmans Kloof where you will stay for 2 nights on full board basis staying in a Riverside Supreme Suite Double Room. Transfer time: approximately 3h 10min

Day 03 and 04

Day 05

The Commodore – V&A Waterfront

From Le Franschhoek Hotel and spa you will have an easy start your transfer to Cape Town, this will aslo be the last three nights of your Tour! From there you will be transferred to The Commodore at the V&A Waterfront where you will stay for 3 nights on bed and breakfast basis. Transfer Time appriximately 1h 12m

Conveniently located on the V&A waterfront in Cape Town, which is regarded as one of the most popular tourism developments in the world. The Commodore offers stylish accommodation and service excellence in a peaceful and secure environment. 25km from Cape Town International Airport. All 236 rooms, including 4 accessible rooms, are decorated in a nautical style and are equipped with individually controlled air-conditioning, television, tea/coffee making facilities, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, razor plug point, direct dial telephone and hairdryer. This nautically themed hotel is noted for its outstanding service, excellent cuisine and friendly atmosphere. The Clipper Restaurant offers superb dining in a tranquil setting, from mouth-watering buffet breakfasts to a diverse à la carte menu and devilish desserts! Table Mountain Cableway

After a fresh up and lunch (optional) taken to the Table Mountain Cableway. The five-minute ascent to the top of Table Mountain offers a 360° view of Cape Town, the ocean and the neighboring peaks. Once at the top visitors enjoy spectacular views and the peaceful feeling of being over one thousand meters above the city below. The area at the top of the mountain is surprisingly large so leave enough time to stroll along the paths, enjoy the viewing platforms and soak up the vistas. The Cableway operates in the Table Mountain National Park, an important part of the Cape Floristic Region and the single richest floristic area in the world. This area is also a World Heritage Site. There is a lot of Fynbos vegetation on the mountain, with over 1 460 different species of plants. Ticket is valid for 14 days from the chosen date, should the ticket not be used during this period, the ticket is non-refundable. The cableway may close at any time due to strong winds. Should this occur an alternative activity can be arranged by Thompsons.


Day 06

Private Whale and Wine Tour (Hermanus)

Drive along the coast to the fishing village of Hermanus, lapping up the glorious ocean view, eyes peeled for the southern right whales at play. There may be an opportunity to join boat-based whale watching (for own account and subject to availability and weather). These massive mammals breaching are an awe-inspiring sight, and the excitement will undoubtedly leave you with a large appetite for a good lunch (own account). We continue to the Hemel-en-Aarde (Heaven and Earth) valley to visit a boutique winery to sample some wines of outstanding quality (On Sundays the wine estates are closed so a visit the Cheetah Sanctuary in Somerset West is visited as an alternative). Our return to Cape Town is via the pretty apple-growing region of Elgin, then wind our way through Sir Lowry's Pass - spectacular views - and back into the Mother City. Handy tip: Sun protection, protective clothing and preventative treatment against seas sickness are advisable when going on the optional boat trip.

Day 07

Private Peninsula Tour

The Fairest Cape and it surely is! You’ll soon see for yourself where and why it earned its name. Sit back and relax, we’re going to cruise along the exquisite stretch of coastline known as Millionaire’s Paradise (from Clifton to Camps Bay, to the exclusive beach hamlet of Llandudno ) towards the charming working harbour of Hout Bay; if you so choose, you can embark on an up-close-and-personal Seal Island cruise (own account). Back on terra firma, we wind along the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive, hugging the cliffs and relishing the breathtaking ocean views, before arriving at our lunch spot of choice (own account): the wild and beautiful Cape of Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park, an integral part of the world-renowned Cape Floral Kingdom. We meander back along the coast towards the City, visiting the historic naval port of Simon’s Town and the endearing penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach. The Fairest Cape of All, that was Sir Francis Drake’s opinion…and we’re sure you’ll echo it.

Day 08

This is the day you check out of The Commodore and transferred to Cape Town International airport for your departures back home.
