Zomba Forest Lodge is located on the edge of the Zomba Plateau above the historic town of Zomba in southern Malawi.

Formerly a colonial estate, Zomba has been converted into a quirky little hotel, authentic and perhaps a little rough around the edges. For the right kind of guests it makes the perfect base from which to explore the town and the walking trails up on the plateau itself.

In some ways Zomba Forest Lodge is quite similar to Lujeri Lodge down in the Mulanje district. In shorter trips we tend to include the latter, whilst in longer trips we often include a short stay at both.
